Well, thanks to my snitching, he's out of the race , the examiner took away the paper and gave him a new OMR 15 minutes after the start .
Anyways my attempts: (didn't calculate exactly, so rough extimates)
VA: 35
QA: 40-45
LR: 42-44
Total: 117-124.
As far as I remember, there was only 1 RC, on which 15 questions were posted. The trickier part on that part was synonyms as "used in the passage", apart from the Parajumbles. (though F was a giveaway, which actually helped me in solving it).
Anyways all the best puys for the results.....Regarding cheats and all, I think they'll have a tough time surviving the curriculum, if not anything else

My centre was ok I guess. cant really comment about it. But in my room there were few who were cheating silently and invigilator caught one of the girl, She was copying answers from the person sitting beside her. But unfortunately invigilator did nothing apart from changing her seat.
Aaj kal ladkiyan jyada cheating karti hai lagta hai. . Rest was ok
Cant say about my attempt really no idea. In the very last moment I was marking one answer and invigilator starting snatching the answer sheet from me, so could not mark that answer properly.
Don't AIM for a single SUCCESS,........... Make it your HABIT.....

Man!!! After reading about all the cheating stuff, i don't feel like discussing the paper!! this is simply too much!! We work so much for these exams and these institutes can't even organise a paper properly!

Well it was a lazy morning but had to wake up early as the centre(rohini) was "diagonally opposite" to the place where I live (kalkaji) in delhi...... I so much love using this phrase ever since 16th nov ..reached quite early nevertheless...
my attempts:
QA: 41 EU: 33 LR: 32 OA: 106 ..will get most of em correct I believe n wont miss the cut by the lone mark.. the way I did last year :snipersm:
MY ANALYSIS:
QA: Well very much on the predicted lines, resembled a lot to the 07 paper... DI should have been attempted as the questions were fairly simple.. Basic arithmetic didnt require any Vedic mathematics Just simple addition and multiplications....... The cutoff for this section should be quite near to what it was last year..!! Overall.. a very easy paper...50+ attempts excellent.. 40+ very good....
EU: Well it was surely not as easy as it was last year.. the parajumbles question must have left everyone in a fix ..The lone RC was easy...But still one had to look at the options closely to be entirely sure of the answer... Overall the section was moderate.. and 35+ attempts excellent 30+ very good......
LR: Again a section which was tougher than last year .. There were plenty f sitters but they werent grouped together... Calling it logic reasoning would be a misnomer... the series question would have taken some time .. otherwise the section was pretty doable... 40+ attempts excellent ..35+ very good ....
My take on the cutoffs is that they should remain quite close to last year i.e 85+ for the coveted call.... 95+ to have a fighting chance .. !!!
P.S..... Dont get frightened by the 130+ attempts..there would be a lot of puys coming up on pg .l.. but generally ppl tend to screw up their accuracy with higher attempts ... (the way i did last year in SNAP)
And yes cheating, calculator use, weird centres is nothing new to NMAT !!
Cheers !

hi friends
my attempts
verbal-40
quant/di-53
logic-46
total 139 attempts
but just as someone told some posts before number of attempts is not the key here...am pretty confident of 80%+accuracy in logic and quant...but i thought the verbal section was really tough..attempted all questions in the hope i will get at least half of them correct...:-)

i attempted around 92 ques. sure abt most of them. just a few ques here and there in VA and LR i think. might just clear the cut off but seniors please tell me if i'll be able to convert the call because i read here that only above 95-96 score u get selected. my acads are good and i have loads of extra-currics. will anything matter?? do i have a chance?? please tell. I really wanted to clear this paper. Missed IIFT by about 1 mark. dont want to let this go. i'm really disheartened. :(((

dont really want to rub salt to ur wounds...but if so much weightage is given to the written test u will have a difficult time converting a call if u get it...i hope u have written other exams as well..

you did great !!! keep it up !!!... someone like the one whom you caught not only does not deserve to be a manager but also deserves humiliation in public... imagine future managers who got there through cheating... institutes like nmims and iift are really encouraging such a trend...
