This year the number of seats has increased after NM clubbed MBA-focussed and MBA-core together. To be precise, they will offer 360 seats this year[inclusive of management quota]. So, IMO, rank till 600 will have good chance of conversion [on merit].

after going through all this who will have the excitement of calculating scores and pin pointing cut offs...

dude agree wid u nd adding on that this college asks money for gd-pi assessment which is so cheap..
this year there were 50000 odd applicants.. dont think this college deserves so much respect..

Yaar its real bad when you see that you've done the best you could, expecting some positives out of the time spent in preparing and giving the exam...to see that people took calculators to the friggin exam. One asshole started off peeping into his question paper the moment we were handed the papers (9:45 AM), and he started marking the ovals then on. On account of my snitching, he's out of the race , the examiner took away the paper and gave him a new OMR 15 minutes after the start .

Anyways my attempts: (didn't calculate exactly, so rough extimates)
VA: 35
QA: 40-45
LR: 42-44
Total: 117-124.

As far as I remember, there was only 1 RC, on which 15 questions were posted. The trickier part on that portion was synonyms as "used in the passage", apart from the Parajumbles. (though F was a giveaway, which actually helped me in solving it).

Anyways all the best puys for the results.....Regarding cheats and all, I think they'll have a tough time surviving the curriculum, if not anything else

Hey! i was kind of happy when i left the centre but now i'm really upset. i could attempt only around 92-95 ques. i think i might just clear the cut off but then as i read, last ranks do not really have any chance. i'm totally disheartened! :(

Where did u find 2 RCs? There was only 1 RC this year. You can check that in TCY analysis.
There were only 5 DS questions this time in QA/DI section.
Last year the exam was held on Dec-30-2007 and results were out on Jan-24-2008. Going by that this year we can expect the result to be out in the middle of the fourth week of January 2009.
