Sorry for late replies. I was engaged in some other activities for last 2-3 days. Anyway For vocab. what i suggest, is that right now what can do is, revise all idioms..Please understand that VA section is generally highly unpredicatble (unlike maths and RC). So everyone finds it new. Every time they have new words (god know, from where they get them...you will see few words, which are not there even in Barons)...BUT it is for everyone. ....Cut off surely is not going to be a problem, if you have just "good reading habits"....

1. I had very ordinary vocab...actually poor vocab...still made it...
2. RC are long but number of questions following each RC is also large....second thing, answers choices are not as close as they appear in CAT....u can easily eliminate...

Hi FMS Seniors,

i had a few questions regarding the paper:

1. Aren't there any DI questions in the paper ..... coz the CL analysis says that there were no DI sets at all in FMS 2008.

2. Regarding VA .... can the seniors throw some light on their attempts .... i have a very ordianary vocab knowledge .... i can manage abt 30-40 marks .... is that score gud unuf to clear the 50%ile barrier .....

3. Lastly .... wat were the approx cut off's for FMS (both courses) .....

I think people want a FIXED number of attempts before going to exam....My say is that please don't go to exam with any such pre-concied notion about any section....This data will prove the point..I attempted around 45 in maths (more than 40 should be correct), i got 99.9 percentile in maths....In LR I attempted 22-24 (all should correct), i got 99.9 percentile in this section....another point...i also got calls last year (jan 2007 exam) and last year i was able to attempt 40 in LR (very easy paper)..so i am sure if this year someone would have gone to exam with a thinking that he will crack 35-40 in LR, he would have screwed up........so please don't go to exam with any notion about number of attempts....just MAXIMIZE....

Total 100 percentile..
