i am getting the following scores english - 15.75
ALR - 25.5
quant and DI - 9.5 :-x
GA - 8.5
overall - 59.25

The following has been my academic track record
10th - 88.8
12th - 74.8
engineering - 78.2 [topper in 2nd, 3rd and 4th years, award by 2 independent institutions for excellence in academics, NCC - 3 years wit B certificate, national level essay writing 1st place]
Also, i have a work ex of 30 months.

plz advise if i can expect to hear from SCMHRD? which other col can i get a call from wit this score and profile?

my score in snap is like this
gk- 12-14
eng- 22-25
quant n di- 19
lr-41
total- somethin around 90-95-100
but my acads r bad!! - 10th- 69%, 12th- 59%, and btech- 7.9/10 till now
also almost zero in extra curriculars
so m highly confused as wat to do,
as the coaching institutes say scmhrd n siib give their first call itself based on profile so i m out of the race, n heard about sibm that it will give the call but later it will reject bcoz of the poor acads.
seniors plz suggest me wat to do, can i apply for any of these three?
my score is above the cut off so will they give any relaxation in other areas keepin the score in mind?

First off, congos on decent show in SNAP. But dude, trust me, there's no real question of counseling here. This is the SNAP paper discussion thread. So your issue is whether to apply to the top univs like SIBM/SCMHRD etc or not.

SIBM Pune doesn't give profile based call to the best of my knowledge. Your good show in SNAP will probably trounce the other aspects as far as SCMHRD is concerned. Getting a call is one thing; your profile would probably be grilled in the next stage. So that is something you should prepare for.

Ok let me try to be a little blunt here. No offense. In any case, you have only 2 options at this point in time.To Apply or not to apply. You know for yourself that you've done well in SNAP. Would you rather not apply? :1eye:

Firstly your acads are not as poor as you might be thinking.
Secondly SIBM doesn't give importance to profile, lets say compared to institutes like SP Jain, and the fact that your SNAP score is good will be the sole criterion for your call.
Thirdly, GD/PI is meant for examining each and every personal aspect, if you think you lack there somewhere, get some coaching, you'll surely get more polished.

Lastly please dont lose hope and assume that you would be rejected, thats just total crap!

my scores go thus:
IMS: OA: 88.5, verbal: 20.75, Logic: 30, G.K: 17, Quant: 20.75
TIME: OA: 85, verbal: 17.25, Logic: 30, G.K: 17, Quant: 20.75

Realistically, what are my chances seniors? and I've other doubts too,
Like I had only selected SIBM pune and SCMHRD during the application for SNAP. Though it looks obvious that I screwed my chances for SIBM, b'lore, just wanted to make sure whether I can't go ahead and apply for SIBM b'lore.

plus, amongst other HR institutes where would SCMHRD figure?
