hi, can u tell me, when aimcat forms are out . and i m preparing for dec mat how much score is reqiuered,for gen mba and mba ib , is their any criteria for these course . and what is average and least placment in both course . and waht is the new fee structure .plz rply or u can mail me at

which is the beter between mba ib and gen mba , and i also heared there are aroud 1800 student in all mba , so it really makes placment bit difficult in amity . or not

80+ for MBA IB
No separate forms for AMCAT. Just buy the Amity University admission form and fill it.
Placement figures for 2008 passed put batch, though I am not sure about it, do confirm with the university once, the median salary is Rs. 5.5 Lacs.

Strength is as follows in 2008-2010 batch:

Gen MBA - 720 Students
Mkting & Sales/HR/Retail/Entrepreneurship & Leadership - 720 Students Approx.

AMITY INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SCHOOL
MBA IB + 3 Continent MBA - 1000 Students Approx.

Placement does become tough, you have to earn ur placement by way of performing well both in examinations and extra curriculum activities. Simply admission into a B-School won't guarantee you a placement, but yes due to the large size of the batch here the competition is indeed tough.

Fee for our batch is Rs.5.18 Lacs, but 2009 onwards it's been increased to close to Rs. 8 Lacs.

I request all of you to confirm all the figures i've mentioned above with the 24 hr helpline or online consellor. I've just written what I've heard from different sources.

Yes MAT is also conducted in Feb and that score is also taken by Amity University for Admission into ABS/AIBS. You can go through the newspapers for Feb MAT advertisements.

For the batch which graduated in 2008, the avg salary offered was around 5.5 to 6 lacs. I don't know the rumours about Amity University you're talking about but yes I agree, MBA from AU is not worth considering the high fees and the large strength. Return on investment is not too good. But between all this we should not forget that recession is in and all institutes are struggling with placements, also if you're excellent nobody can stop you from getting a good job.

if u hav filled amity as preference in ur application form den dey goona call u if u hav cleared dere cut offs bt if u haven't filled den dun wrry just fill amity form or call amity office dey wil tell u what to do??:angel:
