Hello Team,
As understood that SCMHRD sends calls based on profile. So, will it be possible for your team to give me a rough idea, as to where do I stand in getting a call from your institute, based on my profile(below):
Class X: 79.3
Class XII :66.8
B.Tech:73.3 (N.I.T)
Work ex:
Constructions: 8 months
IT: 5 years (One of India top 3 IT companies)
Your inputs would be appreciated.

Plz comment on my profile........ | Your profile seems to be absolutely good. A candidate who is versatile with very good extra curriculars has a better chance to convert SCMHRD. Because SCMHRD shortlists candidates with versatality in acads, extra curriculars etc.
P.S.: This doesn't mean that the person who doesn't have good extra curriculars, doesn't get a call from SCMHRD. Ultimately a call is based on Test Score, Acads, Work Exp and a few more...
Cheers. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to pavanp For This Useful Post:

Calls for GD/PI are totally based on overall performance including SNAP score,Extra Curriculars,Work Ex,10,10+2 etc.
All the best for SNAP!!!
Perform well and hope for the best

Last year quite ambigious calls were given.....i knw some of my frnds who scored way less marks in snap (arnd 65) with normal profile but were given calls (they all were female aspirants)....but male aspirants with better marks and better profile were not given calls........I thk SCMHRD tries to make proper balance between male - female ratio.....
Scmhrd is indeed a gr8 instt and admiring instt......but yes this happened last year....no offences please.... Challenges are what I seek, Passion is what I put and Success is what I deliver. ---------------------------------------------------------------- BLACKI | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to iim_phodu For This Useful Post:

With SCMHRD, one cannot say anything for sure... i will give my experience...
I gave SNAP last year and scored 82 .. i had applied to SCMHRD.. but i did not receive GD/PI calls.. my profile last year was something like this:
Experience - 2+ in TCS
10th - 82%
12th - 73%
Grad - BE IT (65%)
There were calls given to people with score of 65 too.. I was dejected when i got to know that i am not even short-listed for a GD/PI, but later on accepted with the SCMHRD process...
This year, i don't know if i will give SNAP or not (depends upon an onsite Assignment), but even if i give, i don't have much to add to my profile from what was it last year.. So even if i give SNAP, i won't be filling up the SCMHRD forms.. as it won't serve any purpose to see one more rejection from them..
To puys, do make sure that if you are filling in SCMHRD forms, you got to have a good extra-curricular profile and a good marks throughout 10th, 12th and Grads..
Its not only me, there are many in my company who had got respectable scores in SNAP but were'nt called for the next rounds.. So all of them are gonna try for SIBM as atlest they shortlist for the first round based on your SNAP scores.. So atlest they give us a chance... later on its all up to the individual how he navigates through the GD and PI processes...
Again, whatever i have written above are my personal opinions.. no grudges against the institute... | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
