Its that time of the year again when aspirants sit down with the list of B-skools and make decisions on which forms to take and which b-skools to apply..One hellluva journey it is....

Best of Luk to all the aspirants..People having any queries can shoots their qestions abt anything they wanna know about DFS-MFC right from placements to faculty,from clubs to teams just shoot em ppl and ull have them answered.....

pls tell me what courses are offered? what score they take? what is the overall cutoff? is there a sectional cutoff? is the institute only for finance?

hi anjath..
there is only one course which is offered which is called masters in finance and control(mfc).
We have a seperate entrance examination.There are a total of 240 qstns.The cutoff last year was 160.

hi there,
i came to know that mfc exam asks many typical economic terms as well, can u suggest some source from where all these terms can be found to mug up

there is nothing as such that a lot of economic terms are asked in the qstn..i n the general awareness some qstns are asked based on ecomic definations just pik up any good eco book that should b sufice..u can also look at the cpt material for ecomics provided by ca institute..

thanks for starting this thread on MFC. i have a few questions to ask. they are as follows:

1. wat is the paper pattern like
2. u mentioned the cut off to be 160. are all the q's of 1 mark?? further are there any sectional cut offs also
3. wat were the placements like this year(highest/avg salary)
4. hows the campus life and wat abt the facilities provided on campus
5. wat is the scope for laterals(if any) .... i presently hv a 15 month work ex in the financial services sector
6. and most importantly ..... wen will the forms be out .... wats the last day of submission etc

i know these r a lot of questions ..... but i cudnt help askin either
