Some important things to share with all the applicants:

1) Some people requested to start another poll with percentiles instead of marks. I did try doing the same but PG does not currently support that. As regards the purpose of having this poll I'm not sure if it will help in any way other dan creating more confusion. Remember guys not all the 13500+ applicants who have applied this time may be on PG. So you may not be able to get the true picture at all.

2) Regarding the cutoffs, Guys/Gals I know most of u are anxious to know them soon enough since this mite be the only option for u this year. I too was in the same situation last year after having screwed up my CAT last year. The only thing that helped me was patience. Just like u guys are eager to come here we too await deserving candidates who enrich the experience for all here. So just wait for the results to come(as per snape around mid-feb). Till then make the best use of this time to prepare urself, and know more about the college. A link has been provided by Nitiksh with last years threads. Again once the GD/PI calls are out I will be starting another thread for the same.

3) Last year the cutoff was 90.01. Guys below this score, I'm really sorry but the chances seem bleak unless u are a goan domicile for whom there is a relaxation of 15 percentile. The ones between 90.01-93 keep praying. Above this score I feel the chances are pretty good. Disclaimer: This is solely my viewpoint based on the trend for this year going by the rise in applications.

4) Guys please refrain from asking the same questions again and again since u are creating problems for us as well as u, we have to go through same questions again and again. In the process time is wasted and if someone has a genuine question it might get lost. So for the good of all avoid spamming. Just take the trouble to read the previous posts.

5) Guys having the belief that the forms might reopen, am sorry to say I had also reconfirmed the same today and in no condition is the same going to happen. So all the best for next year.

6) Do not post ur XAT id's. How many times does this need to be told to u guys!!! It has been repeatedly told my me as well as nitiksh to refrain from the same. Believe me it wont help. PM one of us and we'll try to look into it.

Abt recession, it has hit everyone and it has hit where it hurts the most........
But then u can rid ur way around the recession,if u work hard........real talent and hard work will always be rewarded.......If u good, u will get the profile and salary which u want and if u r not good, leave alone GIM, even IIM cannt help u much

hey, the new campus is still in the planning stage and it will take some time. definitely not for this batch.
i have a question.. a friend of mine got an 86 overall with above 90 in quant and reasoning but got only 58 in verbal. will this hamper his chances of getting a call??

As far as I know, GIM doesnt take sectional cutoffs.

Other important updates:

1) The calls shall be given by the second week of Feb.

2) The cutoff this year is expected to go up as compared to last year.

3) There is a discussion going on currently regarding the process to be followed after the calls are given. Any updates on the same shall be given when we have it.

4) The interview is expected to begin from th first week of march at the locations specified on the website. So guys thats a little over a month away from now SO START PREPARING. I shall be starting a thread for the same once the calls are out.
