@rahulbagati - I respect that GIM has no reservation. Also, XLRI also has no reservation.
@akkinaya and severus snape - Thanks a lot for the information. I am looking for non-residential program only because of my family probs.
Thanks again.

a slight twist here. taking up a hostel room is compulsory but staying there is not. Dr. ambuj from our batch stays with his wife about a kilometre away from campus, but he has taken up a room nonetheless.

Yes, parikshit is rite and at times we do forget that Ambuj doesnt stay or rather sleep on campus(yes at times we do sleep at nite for a change!! ).
In special circumstances like that of Dr. Ambuj who has his family here students are allowed to stay out of campus. But yet you need to take up a room in the hostels nonetheless.

yahan toh kaarvan banta ja raha hai aur kaafila badh raha hai!!!
I see Parikshit and the great Communications God Sherry Sandhu on the admissions thread....and I said WOW!!!!
Ab waqt aa gaya hai ki hum un ehsaanon ka badla chukayein jo last year seniors ne hum par kiye the...chhoti se chhoti baat ka jawaab de kar...woh bhi kai kai baar...
I exhort all the good musicians to apply to GIM. We have a got a few and few more will come and we will put together a GIM Band....maybe it will be called the "RiBANDers"....
So If you are good at playing any musical instrument (and reasonably good student and serious about joining a good b school) do apply and your career will catch a new and better note!!!
Yipeee - I just realised 2 things....
EDIT BUTTON IS BACK!!!!
I AM A HARDCORE PAGAL NOW!!!

Hi Coolraj420,
The fees for the 2009-11 batch has been declared as Rs 450000. In addition to this other expenses like hostel accomodation and caution deposits come to around 20K. For a complete breakup of the same u can visit this link.

Hello Seniors@GIM,
Could you please tell me if GIM considers sectional cutoffs?
Also, were there any placements in brand management last year?
Thanks for your help.

If you consider the trend of the placement figures, for GIM, the graph has been increasing... with an increase of about 15% in average and 33% in the highest salary... [refer to http://www.gim.ac.in/uploads/files/n...EPORT_2008.pdf for details] :hurray: :hurray: I won't comment on what's in bag for the other B-schools, but this is the trend for GIM... Similarly if you project the figures for the next years,[ even after considering the worst effects of the current recession,] the figures will be good... :hurray: :hurray:
Trust us... your immediate seniors.. there would be many good, better n even better companies that would be coming to GIM... so dont worry about that... :iamcool::iamcool:
