hey, got two questions..
1) what % of the class constitutes the domicile quota??
2)do consulting companies like Mckinsey , AT Kearney etc come to XIMB?? i could nt find a list of recruiters on the site.

1 i guess there is quota for domicile people but there is a separate cut off marks for them..and the entire procedure accepting xat score and GDPI is diffirent
2 companies like AC nielson , deloitte , Ernst and Young are in their recruirters list as per their prospectus

Hello Seniors & Puys,

XIMB has been consistently making to the top 15...

I believe both the XLRI & XIMB belong to the same organizations, however I find vast differences in the kind of companies that make up to the Cmpus placements why is it so.

Do the two colleges collaborate at some levels or no??

XLRI GMP program has some of the best consulting firms and even firms like Indian Airlines & DRDO.

sir , my expected score is aroung 26-27 in XAT 2009. with a high score in verbal....

my scores are as follows
LA - 16.5
VA - 10 - 14
QA - 1 (horendous)
So the score varies from 27.5 - 31.5 . But I am from domicile . Is there any chances for domicile .

I am no expert in this matter but I am sorry to say that a lone mark in QA may not be enough..........Even for domicile, sectional cut offs hold good...........may not be that high as those for people from rest of the country...........and I doubt if 1 in QA will translate to 70+ percentile in the section...........All the best........

yes you are correct . i felt the same too . Any idea about the sectional cut offs for Domicile . Is it 70 percentile in all the sectionals .

The cut offs for domiciles and Rest Of India have been extensively discussed some 2-3 pages earlier....U will find all your answers there..........
