you can check here for the ranking of all the colleges.......LIBA is a decent college (my personal opinion).........

Comparing B Schools isn't allowed on PG. However, you can infer a few things about the reputation of the institute from the fact that it's one of the top few colleges taking XAT. You can also refer the Pagalguy Rankings to get an idea of where LIBA would stand.

But, honestly, I would never go by rankings as they might not always show you the right picture. At the end of the day rankings go only by numbers. I would advice you to PM a senior from LIBA, get his/her number and speak to him/her to get a good idea of what it's like at LIBA. You can apply this method to any B School.

Also there are lot many puys in the range of 88-90 percentile who wish to apply to LIBA, where as cut offs last year was 90+ (which is doubtfull to be lower this year). And most of the seniors are suggesting so called "Borderline Cases" to apply..
My question is to what extent is it fruitfull for the border line guys to invest on the application if chances of getting a call are dim. What is the basis on which seniors are suggesting to apply.. Perhaps am sounding bit blunt and loud.. but I think these questions if answered will really help a bunch of the puys hovering around this page to get their queries cleared..

Also the cut off for last year was 90+ (which is unlikely to go down this year). Now there are lot many puys in the 88-90 range (so called border line cases)in cluding me too.. As i see seniors are advising them to apply and take a chance, whereas we clearly know that the chances for a call are really Dim.
I wanted to know on what basis are we being advised to invest on the application. Does Liba relax the criteria on some ocassion..
These questions if answered will definitely help a bunch of puys hovering around this page to get things clear..

Im a roman catholic however d prob is dat ive scored jus 54% aggregate in grad_ so am i not eligble 2 apply or does liba decrease cutoffs for catholics in terms of grad % as well

got 66.82%ile in CAT08
and 85.86%ile in XAT09..

I heard Welingkar pays a lot of emphasis on work experience and I'm a fresher.
