hey friends, Plz tell me that is the 60% marks requirement only for graduation or also for 10th & 12th grades?in the site its mentioned only for graduation...can one apply if he is not having 1st division in 10th?

Hello everyone !!

This is Archanaa here. I have got into this group today and i am really happy to have found that i can finally get the kind of help that i have always needed . I went through the thread and i already got answers for many of my queries .I have some more wherein i would certainly need your help. As mentioned earlier, The cut off was 90.1 % last year. Could you please let me know approximately how many right answers would i need to get , to get a good percentile . Cos percentile is based on relativity , please guide me in absolute terms ...like these many right answers in each section would do the job .

last time i attended xat according to institutes my score was around 37 and i got 95 percentile.. xat wont disclose the score u will get only percentile my suggestion is better attend 40% in each section with above 90% accuracy...

last date for liba online registration is feb4 2009 and for receipt of liba application fee is feb 11 2009

HSC and SSC marks are also assigned weightage (though the weightage is usually considerably low, also I do not have any idea of the weightage and nor would I be able to find out what that is going to be for 2009.. these weightage are determined by the institute )

Good marks in HSC and SSC is a therefore a bonus and not having high colours can be made up with a good performance otherwise.

Thanks a lot for the spontaneous response on my query . Could someone please tell me how to prepare for the essay and how much importance does it hold as far as LIBA is concerned ? Is it that accuracy is more important than speed ? Do i just need to attend those questions that i am sure of and let go of others , just ignoring them ...Will that help me out ?

yes accuracy holds the key over here
its better if you dont guess over here because you have differential marking in xat

Please take time to go through the whole thread.There is no quota here though cut off is reduced for catholics...
