The posts below have covered almost all aspects. The exam isn’t very difficult to crack but clearing the GD&PI is the tough part ... Infrastructure and Faculty is as good as any Top B-School where as the placements surpass many .. Its prolly MBA's best kept secret (for HR) ...

There were 2 papers, an hour each .. the essentials in the paper were eng, quant, gk and some HR n biz questions.. the exam is a total breeze trust me... so chillax and fill up the forms for know...the real test are d GD/PI ....

cud u pls throw some light on the right kind of "ingredients" that the tiss ppl are looking for in a candidate...... {u cud also take ur personal example}
even after raking my mind a lot.. i simply fail to decipher the code.....

also suggest a suitable strategy for preparation for gd/pi..

Aaah..if only sucha formula were available in a bottle hmm... what worked for me was that i was able to i related all the work that i'd done to the specialization i wanted to do (i had a few years of IT experience). They asked me a lot of qns related to my company and the sector in general... it went of pretty smooth ... the interview lasted around 20 mins. I think you need to convince them as to why you'd be the best bet and come across as genuinely interested.

As for as the GD, we all had an understanding before we got in that we'd not make it a fish market .. so i was lucky i had a nice group that ways.. Started the GD .. Spoke when ever I could in the middle .. didn’t cut in on any one... spoke to all in group, paid attention when other spoke and also summarized the GD in the end ... so basically tried to do everything right ...
Prepz.. the usual GD preps i.e. current affairs and biz information and pray u get a good topic

hello guys...
i have already posted the query about the clashing of JMET and Tiss exam..please gives the idea about the last year timing of Tiss. It's very big problem for me( and i think for others also)...because i m going to give only some of the exams and JMET and Tiss one of them.

Can anybody tell us the time of examination for TISS?

Because TISS and JMET exams are both on the same date.

IBSAT AND SNAP ARE ON THE SAME DATE TOO, BUT AT DIFFERENT TIMINGS. HOPE ITS THE SAME FOR TISS AND JMET TOO.

Hello All!!
This is regarding the day for TISS exam. As far as i have heard from reliable sources, the exam is on the 14th of december 2008, although i'll surely get it re-confirmed and post the details asap...I'm unaware of the timings though....
If the exam date happens to be wrong, by any chances, i beg your pardon....
