Those who say paper was easy,hats off to them
Paper 1 was very easy,but paper 2 was like a bouncer and very tough compared to last year.
Probability:Tough
DI:ON TOUGHER SIDE.
DS:MODERATE
GK:VERY TOUGH
HRM:VERY TOUGH
ENGLISH:MODERATE

Overall a tough paper and those who gave it last year,can very well feel the difference.

Its my personal opinion,but I appeared last year also and I found paper 2 really tough.

Cut offs will increase as this time only 400-500 calls are expected,whereas last time almost everyone was called.
But Increase wont be too high as level increased considerably...
No sectional cut offs is a relief though.

hey guys,

I just took the exam at LSR in delhi. Came from Chandigarh, and am from an engg. background so skipped JMET for this.

First, some notes on the test center and manner of exam conduct.

1) Only one seating arrangement sheet for the entire college, in a corner at the entrance which everyone missed, total confusion inside.

2) Given papers at 8:45, everyone started answering at 8:50 thinking the bell went for the exam when actually it was for distribution of the papers. Second time around this was reduced to a 2 min. early advantage.

3) College is spotlessly clean, deserves to be called the best girls college in the country (arguable, i know) and the teachers and staff were very nice as well

4) even my cat was in an all girls college in chandigarh. Guess the MBA entrances are opening doors for the girls colleges

About the exam:
Paper 1 was extremely easy. Even though I am from an engineering background, I think most would have found this very easy.

Paper 2 was ok from the quantitative part. Poisson's theorem questions killed the probability section. So much weightage to one formula, not funny. But i guess it must be justified in the studies and must be used a lot or something. Otherwise, this was a totally ludicrous question set. RCs were not exactly tough, but had to read into them. English was overall easy.

I think atleast 65-70 overall out of 125 would be required. Although, I feel this could go higher. If each paper is considered individually as well (not section wise) then 30-35 in first exam and about 30-35 in the other exam.

Don't slaughter me if my suggestions don't match yours. Am just a student like you

paper was definitely easy....
but paper 2..phew...... :sad: a very stark contrast as compared to last year..probability a separate section..wat was that.......
just wishing that my tukkas come true......lol

Paper 1 was definitely doable although GK was on the tougher side.
Paper 2, like all of you have said was a disaster. I didn't read about 20 ques. Blindly marked probability and those 2 pgh questions:(
I am just praying that the cut offs will be 60 like last yr:confused:.
I would just rate my performance avg( It could be even below avg).
Let's hope for the best. Does anybody have an idea when the results are gonna be out?? Also, I would like to know the marking scheme. Since we had 75 questions in the 2nd paper, what will be the weightage for each ques?

First of total mismanagement at the center "Miranda HOuse"
No room was allotted according to that stupid list:-x
then TISS authorities were too busy to guide all of us and the faculty was like
At 9:05 I was roaming here and there like an idiot wanderer and then reached my room at 9:10 and it wasn't started in my room luckily...and the examiner gave us the whole time (45 mins)
Part 1 was easy and I attempted all

Part 2
I thought I am n't prepared well:sad: and I regret wasting 2-3minutes to have the feel of the paper...And missed out few questions....

It was more of a vocab test ..Everywhere a difficult word came out from nowhere....

I leave it to Almighty now...HOpe for the best:smile:

Don't worry guys.. mera bhi wahi haal hai, so i can guess that everyone found the part 2 hard.Do u know my centre screwed up big time.The guys were unable to distribute correct papers.HR ppl landed up with HO, Sw with HR.....It was such a comedy of errors...

Regarding the paper, even I am disappointed.C.priyanka and hamari itne din ki GK "pagalpanti" on pagalguy still wasn't enough <did they refer this thread while setting the paper??>........... hope it turns out useful for other exams. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Do all the questions in Paper 2 carry the same marks? So the overall marks are out of 125 is it?I don't understand this? Or is it like 50 marks for Paper 2 also?? Somebody plz enlighten...

PAPER 2: 32-35 OUT OF 75

all i hope for the good results for all.....let us not stop here and keep up the preparation for other exams which are lined up every sunday from now on.....
