Looks like CAT's been on ur mind when u have posted...
Yes, it looks like there is a conspiracy against Science Graduates, as in they want a more diverse student profile instead of only engineers as has been the case over the past few years ( in my class of 65, close to 35 odd are engineers....)
So, there has been more emphasis on English, but I really dont see engineers weak in English, so the jury is yet to be out on whether CAT shall be able to drive out engineers...
1. Even if u get the previous year's paper, its of no use as the pattern has changed 360 degree this year, and you wont get it as we are not allowed to take the TISS paper back home.
2. Exam pattern has been explained in the previous page of this thread
3. 67 % of the paper is close to CAT/SNAP/NMAT. 33 % is GK similar to IRMA.
4. Normal entrance exam prep for 66 % of paper, as for GK, do as much as you can...
5. The sample papers for TISS say 37/100 marks for English [ 20 in part 1 and 17 in part 2 ]
