A few corrections..
Paper is of 1 hour 45 mins.....45 mins for 1st part and 1 hour for HR part...
As for case studies, though its not mentioned in the sample paper, its mentioned in the info brochure...so be prepared for that too....take no risks...
Also, if you'll dont mind, try avoiding using "sms/chat language" in your communication, its fine in gtalk, but it actually casts a very bad impression when someone senior sees it....also it tends to become an habit and you shall notice these bad habits creeping up in your written communication, which is really bad...
Just a tip from a senior, lets say.....nothing more..
All the best for IIFT/TISS/JMET...
Rock on guys...
Cheers
Varun

One more thing which springs to my mind is....in the common part...
English 20 marks
Maths and Logic 15 marks
GK 15 marks....
for 1st 2 no problems, all shall score 35 marks....but I guess the difference comes in the 3rd section of 15 marks.....if u want to make it to TISS, u need to crack this GK section.....
Thats my analysis....so for all those whose nxt exam is TISS on 14th Dec, seriously start preparing on GK....its not like last year, where if u score 60/100, u shall get a call...:( :(
Shall post my analysis of the HR part soon.....
Ciao

As for HR part..
Unfortunately, TISS has released only 51 questions and not all 75..so not easy to make any strategies...
But, after taking a look, I believe there are 3 sections to the paper..
1. Data Intepretation
2. Reading Comprehension and HR Case Studies
3. Business Knowledge, HR, Psycho, etc etc ( again GK )
I guess its fair enough to assume 25 questions from each part..
now you'll have 60 mins for 75 questions....
My suggestion wud be to use all time for 1st 2 sections and maybe the last 10 mins to attempt the 25 GK questions....
so 25 mins for DI
25 mins for RC and Case Studies
10 mins for GK...
I guess this cud work out.....
Plz ensure u tick all answers even if u dnt know the answers as there is no negative marking...u never know when ur naseeb shall chamkofy..!!
Chalo, prepare well now....let me know if you'll need any help or have any queries...
