I gave the TISS exam last year also and like many others,couldn't clear gdpi.....but i found the TISS ppl very helpful.....I am sure they will do something about the clash of dates with jmet......Seniors pls keep us updated about this.....

I appreciate that you have volunteered to help out the TISS aspirants. The only concern from my side being that there have not been enough responses compared to the queries. I totally understand the commitment and time you have to give at a top B-School, so would like to suggest that you ask some of your friends also to join the thread and hence keep it alive.

I am putting down some of the Queries which have either not been answered so as to dispel the doubts or need to be answered by someone at TISS:

1. As regards to your suggestion to visit TISS on Sep 20 to know more about TISS, I hope you understand that it is not possible for everyone. Just a brief overview from your side would do...

2. Although it has been said that the clashing of dates of JMET and TISS will be looked into: Please let us know something concrete because last date for JMET is nearing and let it be clear whether TISS will take any steps or not.

3. Pattern of TISS Paper(Although already answered: Please give a clear picture : atleast of last year's paper)

4. GD/PI : Just a brief overview as to how are students judged (I know there is no clear demarcation, your opinion is expected).. what are the chances of freshers, with no prior HR exp. how do you convince them of your passion etc.

Hi All,

Am a TISS aspirant too, but I am applying for MA in Social Work. Any of you pursuiing MSW? For MSW, the test & GD are on the same day - does that mean that everyone writing the test participates in GD?

For MSW - it says that the test will be caselets and we must analyse them. Does it mean that MSW students also need to write the quant/english/GK test? Any inputs on this one?
