After the interview he realises the reason of quiting the company is only the fact that.....sales targets are not being met.....pressure in rising from higher authorities.....
Mr. A decides to research on the intensity of the matter before taking any step further.....he realises the sales target of the comapny has been the reason of periodic out bound movement of several employess (mostly at middle level).....
What shld Mr. A (representing the HR Deptt and their policies) do to solve the problem.....and if possible reciprocate the resignation of the lastest employee (assuming its technically feasible and steps are taken as required)....
Pls do not think to explore new markets and spcl schemes (thats marketiing and sales team)....restrict urself to Role of HR in the Sales Team...
In case there are a few points in the case are missing pls revert so I can improve on them the next time....as all of these cases are brain child, nothing on the web as such....

first i shud mention that ur case studies are too good..just cant beleive that without prior HR experience u are able to bring out so many real life scenarios..this clearly tells that u r either very well read about HR or u have a basic knack for HR or both..kudos yaar..really kool
my take on this:
i beleive that for this scenario there can be 3 reasons
1. the targets are unrealistic and the senior management are xpecting too much.it can be a problem with leadership
2.the employees are lacking in the skills req which means tht either the recruitment has been compromised or the training has not been proper
3.the employees dont have the proper resources at their disposal..this can be the correct tools ,improper logistics
what i beleive A shud do is to have a meeting with both the employees and the senior management separately.find out their concerns and if needed arrange a meeting with a team of employees and a team of management to discuss and sort out the issues between them if any.
this would also act as an assurance to the mddle management tht their concerns are being adressed
