here are my answers:
1.'Old Lady of Boribunder' refers to Times of India.
2.'Beyond the Last Blue Mountain' is based on life of the great industrialist JRD TATA.
3.Fredrick Winslow Taylor-Father of Scientific management
4.dunno this one..
5.first kasmir war year:1947
Another thing,plz tell the answer for Father of Psychology:
Freud or Wundt??confused about this one.

I sent my app. on the 22nd of Oct. And yes, I'm yet to receive a response from the guys at TISS.     
I'm from Assam, so hopefully I'll get the benefit of the time extension... man, am I scared...!

Anyways, she's absolutely right on the 1st point, TISS is different from XLRI, both of us complement each other, and hence you shall observe guys from both schools working together in most of the corporates today....
Our placements shall close today, and we would soon reveal our stats, but I assure you that all sectors have gone happy with what they have got from TISS (summers).
As for foreign fees, plz refer to the information brochure, there is a separate form to be filled and fees are different.
Are you an NRI or a foreign national ?

Sorry for the late reply. I sent my application thru courier on 11th Oct, which reached the TISS office on 18th Sat. And on 31st nite i got the SMS from TISS AcadSec. Hope this piece of information helps all.
