hey, Vinita..u r right..TISS is conducting its exam on 14th of december this time...but the main problem is about timings as JMET is also on the same day..so can u plz anybody tell me that last yr it ws at what time? and yeah..which is the better for HR: courses at IITS or TISS?:idea:

As far as I know, the HR course at TISS is anytime better than the same offered by the IITS...

hey, thank u venkat..bt do u knw about education quality , learning experience, market value, market(which kindda companies are preferin TISS-public or private),and ofcourse placements? i m specifically asking for HRM
in that context which should be preferred? bcz i ws going to take both d exams bt nw i ll have to choose one of them(TISS n JMET)...
n is there any chance for fresher to get admission in TISS? i've just completed my B.E.this yr..so is work ex preferred or freshmen also get admission? thanking u well in advance...

heyyyyyy can anyone plz clarify my doubt....since PI of tiss hrm&lr is tough & one has to convince the panel to get through ...but if any one fills the tiss form with 3options like 1-HRM&LR, 2-SOCIAL ENTERPREUNERSHIP, 3-DISASTER MANAGEMENT & is asked in the PI that "is hrm & lr the only course that he has applied for"?than how will he prove his commitment there that he is the one whom they should select.....?
i mean will this affect the panel.....?
a student should fill only one choice/more...?
plz do reply my question...i m qaiting bcos only after that i will sit to up my form........so plz help me............

its true that in PI they would ask u about the different courese that u have filled. u would have a different PI for all but they have all ur details individually.
u need to prove ur point in going for more then 1 course. Moreover HR is the most difficult to crack. last year for around 35 general seats 2400 candidates were called.

First thing first...its gud to c that a thread for 2009-2011 takers hav been already formed.as far as m concerned,I was one of the test takers last year..got a call but didn went for GD n PI..guess the reason???I WAS AFRAID,LESS CONFIDENT or what ever els u can say..missed out the oppurtunity..finally got admission into my second priority(offcourse after TISS) n thats MHROD,DSE Delhi University..a course on similar pattern..trust m everything is good here including the placements,seniors,initiatives,activities etc etc...but soon i felt something was missing..n what z that i realized when i went to c ROCK ON..believe m it started hurting n its still doing so..so I AM BACK TO CHASE MY DREAM N TO LIVE IT AS WELL...guys include m one amongst u seriously aiming for TISS..

hi there....
i am a Ty BMS student.
from what info i have gathered, people with live AT-KTs arent eligible for TISS...
i have an AT-KT in the fourth semester, which will be cleared by say, october end.
so is this assumption correct, or can i still apply???
please help!!!

Me too looking forward to TISS this year. Can somebody pls tel me how are the ratings of the mangament courses other than HR ?
I found the MA in Social Entrepreneurship also intersting, so does anyone have any idea how good the course is??
