I dint mean that.....but if you feel smug that only HR work exp shall give u an edge, then you are wrong, mate...
If you look at the top HR ppl today like Adil Mallya, Vedika etc etc, they have a thorough knowledge of business....its no use if you just know staffing but dont have a clue about the org structure of a company....
What I am saying is, there is no diff btwn HR work exp and lets say a IT work exp, because all we are seeing is if ur accustomed to ways in the corporate...if u feel u know HR better than others, then dont think TISS wud add any value to you....
In our batch, there are not more than 2 guys with core HR work ex...one in Ma Foi and one with Manpower....rest all are from IT, Automobile, Education etc etc...
I am not discouraging you one bit, but dont get complacent just because you have HR work ex..try to show to the panel that u understand business as well....bcoz HR without business is useless...we are not into NGO's....!!!
