TISS for the first time ever! is having an alumni home coming event ... its called
PRATIBIMB..
Also TISS , HRM & LR (of course!) is hosting an HR conclave 'Tattva Bodha' this HR business summit has the who's who of the industry..

just the names of the participants is mindboggling... im attaching the documents fellas..go thru them..speard the word..

Please guide me 4 d preparation 2 topics relating 2 HR qs and Social issues...for basic hr type of qs which are generally asked in the TISS entrance xam,is dere ne book we cn follow?
Syllabus says - " HR issues, Business Knowledge, Foundation of Management
(Economics, Sociological and Psychological). "
hw can v prepare 4 dese type of qs!!

For all TISS - Aspirant engineers, Let's do something INSANE....
Due to clashing of JMET & TISS details, I wrote an e-mail to TISS authorities , requesting them , to reconsider the test dates. But the TISS authorities refused to that , so i again wrote them to at least reconsider the timings so that we can appear for TISS after JMET on the same day... So, I rquest all of you to write similiar mails to TISS authorities , so that we can get a chance to appear for both the exams...

How many students are appearing for tiss entrance this year, especially for HRM & LR course.. tiss is a dream insti for me but want to weigh my options against jmet comparing the competition and seats:applicant ratio


and this time is it a fixed cutoff or is it like CAT..calls based on percentile?

I just bought the application form/information brochure for TISS HRM & LR.
section 1.1.1 point no 2 says
"candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor's degree programme,but have not passed in all the courses of first,second and third years on the DAY OF APPLYING for the programme are not eligible to apply for any master's degree programme of the institute"
I am in my final year engg and I have a KT in my third year ,so does that mean I am not eligible ?
And please also explain what is DAY OF APPLYING ? Is it the day when we submit the forms or day when we take the admission ?
I will be appearing for my KT exam in December 2009 ,So Am I eligible?

They donot accept any scores other than their exam...
Application forms for the TISS course is already available..

Bad news for JMET takers wanting to take TISS entrance.

I had mailed TISS regarding the clash of timings of JMET and TISS entrance...They replied by saying that the timings are fixed and the exam will be held between 9 A.M. and 1 P.M. and that there is no possibility of deferment of the time schedule..

So I guess we have to choose between the two..Well I have chosen -- JMET ..

Hi,

I have filled the application form of TISS ...with all the necessary details.
I dint even pressed "Final Submit", pressed only "SAVE" in the end and it displayed..."uname and password has been sent at your email id" . But yet now, there is no confirmation mail. Is there any one else facing the same problem? What is the solution for same? Please help.
