sorry dude...ur info is a bit messed up i think.

i m quoting d dean of a bschool who does not wish to be named

XLRI and TISS are the best two B schools for HR... rank 1 and 2 after that till 10th rank there are no schools. means if a college is rank3 then it means it is a competition. but actually there are no competitors for these 2 institute by a very huge margin

SIBM HR is actually not very well known ( source SIBM senior who studies marketing)
SCMHRD initially set out to be a good HR school but messed up and landed somewhere where it made a lot of money ( source me - SCMHRD rejectX2)

And reg the thing about studyin HR at IIM :-D people seldom do it coz they know they wont get the astronomically high packages then and have to settle for lesser. ( means instead of 20L they d be gettin 12...bad ....assumin d market conditions are good)

Good news!! Me Saswat and Sandeep were flat hunting today and after much sweat (and a bit of luck) we were able to find a great place. Its about 5-6 min walking from both old and new campuses (we actually walked the distance and measured the time!!). The size is 2BHK with spacious rooms and we have agreed for 6 people. That means we have room for 3 more..Financials are below assuming 6 ppl stay.

Rent per person :4K per person/month
Brokerage:4k per person one time payment
Stamp duty and registration:500 onetime
Deposit:50k/6=8333 per person approx.(refundable)

So total cost is around 53k + 8333 deposit. We checked plenty of other places and found similar rates everywhere with higher deposits (about 1L) even for smaller flats.

hey guys!! hope u all are getting set for the rigors ahead....
well just wanted to give u guys a headsup...
luckily u guys will have an 88 credit hours annual scheme as compared to ours 96 credit hours... so thats about 3 subjects lesser to u guys annually...
so in all probabilities u guys will have a much cooler and less rigorous 1st year than us...thats good news...regarding accomodation none of u need to panic..things will settle down within a week itself...dont have to run around for it... and...well see ya guys soon!....
