Wanted to know something..i started filling up the online application form ...but realized that there are few areas which are still not very clear in the online form...so thought of downloading the application form and sending it across.Wanted to know if this can still be done,i think it can be ...coz as of now i only have the TISS online application number which u r supposed to create at the time of login.I haven't submitted the online form as yet.

So please let me know if i can download the application form,fill it completely and send it along with the req credentials and the accompanying draft.Or will my creating login account and obtaining an application number have any bearing on the hard copy of the application.

Yeah, its perfectly fine...just send across the filled downloaded form, a form becomes valid only when it is sent across or submitted on-line....even I have filled a form on-line just to see how user-friendly it is.....so don't worry about it....

Last year ( Jan 2008 ), it started at 10 am, if I remember correctly....so should be the same...anyways confirm with other puys...!!

Dude,

We are not qualified enough to speak about the MHA program. If you stay in Mumbai, drop in our campus to have a chat with MHA students...

Just to clarify this once again, this thread is solely dedicated to the School of Management Studies, TISS and not the other schools of TISS.

a few points guys...pardon me for the bluntness...:vamp:

1. first and foremost the exam timings are the last thing u shud be bothered about.its still september the exam is in december and u are fretting about the exam timings? are u kiddin me? :angry: plz get serious and prepare for the written exams which shall be in XAT pattern as i had posted before. its gonna be tough dont get back at us saying the seniors never threw in a word of caution. ITS GONNA BE TOUGH THIS TIME...obviously in the due course of time u will know the time and place and venue and other trivial shit like that.

2. please do not ask/post queries which are non- HRM & LR. this is a hrm & lr thread. if at all you really need certain queries resolved then its better to PM (personally message) anyone of us who will try to answer to your queries.

3. if its written self -attested then its self attested...what is the big confusion there? if it says only 'attested' then it needs to be attested by a gazetted officer. such redundant queries shall not be entertained next time. plz try to understand we guys take out time for you guys...so try to make the best of this by asking reasonable and legitimate queries which are relevant to TISS and the exam.

4. if the essay is going to come in the exam or perhaps later on during the GDPI rounds u will get to know. everything is announced officially...plz bear in mind nothing which is announced un-officially will be relevant towards admission to TISS. so dont fret over trivial things like these...focus on the writtens. like i said before this time they are planning to give not more than 400-500 calls and the paper shall be on XAT pattern. so plz dont waste time asking stupid immaturish queries...put in hard work.

remember guys all's well that ends well. if my bluntness has helped u guys in understanding the need of the hour then my purpose is served. there still is enough time to put ur respective trains back on track...all the best for the same.

compleeeeeeeeeeeeeeete confusion everywhere..This time TISS and not CAT is gonna get the award for the unpredicatable exam of the year..

first the jmet date and time ka clash..now they are modelling it accoording to xat lines..wickeeeeeeeeeeed!!!!!!

i really hope they dont introduce negative marking..because tukka maarne mein mazaa hee kuch aur hein..and if GK has -ve marking then i am gone..anyways after hearing this i dont know whether to laugh or cry..

cry:because i never wanted tiss to be tough.xat focusses more on accuracy and their english and maths is really tough..and most important i dont want negative marks to be introduced

laugh: because now after CAT, i can go to XAT mode of preps..so not much of tactics change required while preparation

seniors: If the paper is being designed according to XAT lines, i hope that GK section is not excluded.. because xat does not have GK..anywyas thanks a ton for the info..hats off to all of your enthu to help the people preparing for TISS

Well, me and AJ play the good cop/bad cop game...and before AJ kills me for this, plz know that all of us are here to help you in the best possible way....

Look, Assume that it is a tough exam....XAT ho yaa CAT...each and every exam is unpredictable...forget exam, even if everything is predictable, what you make out of the exam is completely UNPREDICATBLE....mocks se toh pataa chal hi gaya hogaa...!!!

So, as of now, as AJ says focus on the written exam....dont fret too much on GK part...as thats something which requires sustained preparation and not a week before the test.....but yeah do conc on the math part...as mentioned in the brochure...probability and others....( indicating a XAT nature..!!!)

Also, kindly read the earlier pages b4 asking us something....else no point keeping those pages, right ??

actually last weekend when i was filling the online application form, i got stuck at the University code. i could not find my university and its code.
So in that case what would i do, without filling of this field the application will be rejected.

plz, help me.
