hello puys ,

In DAF we have to write biographical sketch and response to question of 'WHY' this course. I just wanna know to what extent this written stuff from us will count. Does it really gonna make a big impact or just for the information of panel??

Seniors plz help out on this front. Also guide to formulate an attractive biographical sketch.

i think it does count...

but one of ma frn who got selected for tiss

told m that he was not asked to produce any bio sketch with his DAF

newaz....let ur bio speak for u and about u...

coz the panel will access ur personality frm it..nd may ask questions ....

it is a big part of the interview....and hence do take care of what u plan to put in it....

in DAF it says we need to send our profile written on plane
paper ...wats tht
Wat they want me to write in tht ....they hav already asked everything
in DAF
& also regarding bio...sketch & why this course ..can we send printed
copies or hand written is preferable plz advise ..cheers :confused:

i think hand written would be more appreciated....but i dont have any idea abt the plain paper thing...

i myself hav made a hand written bio...on a4 ruled paper ....

i think the content matters....ya even presentation does but in our writing...

the sheet where in we have to pen down our thoughts for y we gonna go for this course is ruled one so i think no harm in using a ruled plain paper....

1. How is a biographical sketch different from an autobigraphical sketch?
2. Do we need to write the DAF essays in hand or will a print out do?

I understand that these might have been shared in earlier posts, but I am still in doubt.

In the enclosure list it is mentioned that we need to send our "profile written on plane paper( compulsory) " ...wat is tht ...wat do we need to send ???

there is no difference between biographical sketch and autobiographical sketch . Simply put it is your profile penned down on an A4 size paper (ruled/plain - any will do)

The DAF essays should preferably be written in hand.

regading HE, HO courses I am not sure, will try and get students from those courses to join the thread and answer your queries.

dude, how many times do we need to say that the bio sketch and profile on paper is one n same thing...if u see any difference, then send in 2 sheets..!!!
