well Mr Federer, what would you like to put your subjects as ??

As an engineer, the panel shall expect you to mention technical subjects as your strengths...( though we hardly know anything...lol..!!!)

Do you want to put Principle of Economics and Essentials of Communication as your main subjects ???!!!

Umm, Though I like them I can't put them either I was thinking from some ideas from your side, coz as you have said (not everyone is really an engg i.e. in the real terms)
is there someone you know of (or who have some ideas) who put in something different/innovative

Puys,

Its doesnt matter in which stream you've graduated from or where you've worked. It really really doesnt matter. Just take it one thing at a time... crack the exam and then start thinking abt the GD/PIs...

TISS aspirants find themselves in a fix now b/w jmet and TISS but i think even then the choice is only between DoMS IITD + IITMumbai and TISS ... so the choice isnt about 5 Vs 1 but rather 2 Vs 1... I know people who have chosen TISS over instis like SIBM and XLRI(PMIR) (there were other intis as well but i think that would have been an obvious choice : SCMHRD, TAPMI, GIM, MICA, IRMA and like) ... its easily shares the spoils for the top insti as far as HRMLR(formerly PMIR) is concerned (XLRI being the other one)...

Just do a lil research on which of the IITs you'd wanna do ur MBA from before deciding! I know its a sticky situation..Bestaluk on that !

Hmm...use innovation where it is required buddy, else there is a risk that it may look very puerile....

You let me know what your most interesting topics are, they normally shall go into the application form....try to choose something which not many ppl know...so that the probability of them asking you questions goes down....
Also, if u have work exp of 2+ yrs, you may say I have forgotten the subjects sir and can you ask me abt my work exp topics....

Dear Kashish

I am assuming that your work exp is in the field of software programming....It all depends on the way you "package" your work exp...if you just say, I have been coding and testing all my life, then maybe it would not be that impressive for the panel...

Project yourself as someone who knows what business TCS does, find out their business models, their quaterly results, the impact of your SBU n so on so forth...but if you dont know these things, dont bluff or lie....just say whatever you did in your career.....

@ chint_01

Chillax dude ... they might post a similar request after the candidates have been shortlisted following the written test.. we had to fill a DAF (Detailed Application Form) after being shortlisted for the GD/PI .. so i'm guessing that such questions would have to be filled up during that time. It was kinda redundant last time around ... Hope this answers ur query.
