No the qpaper didn't mention 75 marks(nor did it mention 50 marks). That's why v r all confused about the weightage of marks. Could you plz throw some light on this. Hmm...its been clearly mentioned that there are no sectional cut offs, so no section shall be given more importance...2nd section each question shall be of 2/3rd of a mark...and ur total marks out of 100 shall be considered for the merit list..

Now, in the ranked merit list, if rank no 500 ends at 66.67, then thats ur cut off..!! This is just an example....

Mega, u may want to clarify what u mean by weeding out the non puys....hope u dint mean it in a derogatory sense...for an HR aspirant, its very imp to think about how she is perceived by others....!!

As for the analysis, here itself there are some ppl saying its easy and some saying its tough....so forget abt it, and move on to SNAP and others....all the best for that...

i understand the fact that this is not a MBA degree and unique programm structure and all..
but wht would be an answer ....that u would give as a person from tiss.

written test carried 30 % weightage, PI another 30 %, and remaining 40 % btwn GD, Academics and maybe something more...its all given in the information brochure....

Ull really sure marks were not mentioned on the question paper....thats very weird considering even the sample papers had marks written on it.....anyways, I shall clarify this on wednesday...maybe they thought 50 is very obvious....!!!

All I can say is TISS is in somewhat of a transition, we are a social sciences institute but the SMLS i.e management dpt aspires to be like a B School...

I personally remember having read the instructions part very carefully. I was 100% sure that the second paper mentioned 75 marks as the max. marks. Now reading comments, I am a little skeptical. But still, I also remember reading in the instructions that each question has same weightage of 1 mark, or something to that effect.

I am very sure it said 75 marks in the heading part of the question paper. I hadn't done any mocks for TISS, not even the online paper, so I read it carefully. Rest we'll see.
