ME IN XAVIOURS CENTRE
WE HAD ONLY ONE PROBLEM AFTER THE QUESTION PAPER WAS GIVEN THERE WAS NO FORMALL DICLRATION SO PEOPLE ALL WAITED FOR THE INSTRUCTER TO UTTER THOSE MAGICAL WORDS "START"
BUT SO LOST LIKE FIVE MIN.....
but rest fine took paper on time:1eye:
.....man felt like that second paper i meeen the HR one was long i meeen u cant finish 75 in 60 min....thinking abt it......if u save time in OTHER QUESTION's .....u lose that saved time on the passage so
time lost = time saved and .....
have anybody completed it satisfactorlyyy:

hey ppl, part 2---50 marks is 4 media n cultural studies n dev studies...i dono abt the rest...so wat wud the cut off b 4 these courses? any idea?

ya i did complete the paper...did all 125 questions...1st part luckily gk came all common...i felt that the di ds and probability was pretty easy....so breezed through it....may be thats the reason i completed it on time...all the best to everyone for the results...

Paper 1 was very easy,
but paper 2 was like a bouncer
Probability:Tough , TOUGH
DI:was oki.
DS:easy
GK:TOUGH
HRM:VERY TOUGH
ENGLISH:MODERATE

globalisation n labour was difficult ...

HAd attempted all .. hi hi ... 4-5 qns even without the qn paper ..rest to god ... if he wishes me to be in TISS

At 9:05 I was roaming here and there like an idiot wanderer and then reached my room at 9:10 and it wasn't started in my room luckily...and the examiner gave us the whole time (45 mins)

I thought I am n't prepared well:sad: and I regret wasting 2-3minutes to have the feel of the paper...And missed out few questions....

It was more of a vocab test ..Everywhere a difficult word came out from nowhere....

I leave it to Almighty now...HOpe for the best:smile:

truly said.. I had my worst experience at miranda house delhi...
paper-1 started at 9:15 am and was collected after 45 minutes...
invigilators were so emotional ki they allowed few people to solve for more minutes...:sad: ,,,, then we waited for another 50 mins after which they paper-2 started...
totally a pathetic experience...

My take on paper
paper-1 easy (attempted all)
paerp-2 moderated ( found RC on dificult side)
lets hope for the best...

The extra time we have seen got for few ppl plays vital role!

I missed few question on RC part, and few GK questions which I kept at the end.

Just hope for the best to come! After all we just cant keep talking abt this.

Hi ppl,

I understand writing TISS in a different college and having time disconnects. But conditions were no different at the new TISS campus centre today where I took the paper. To my hardEST luck our HR paper (part 2) was collected 7 min :-x:-x before the time though students protested but all in vain.

Secondly start of every paper was very disorganised. No instructions were given for starting the paper. Lucky the man who gets the paper first and starts solving the paper at his own time. Back benchers were very unlucky as they got the paper late. No time given for filling the OMR sheet like the way done in CAT

Firstly my take on the paper:

1st part - good baring a few GK questions

2nd part - bad with somethg like POISON PROBABILITY being asked (c'mon are all guys engineers or maths studs appeaing for the paper?????...have some maths in common) but dedicating a sole section for probability was a surprise element. Humanly was very tough (nearing IMPOSSIBLE) to solve paper in the stipulated time. Clearly part 2 was a race against time.

Overall cutoffs should not be too high.

All in all no content feeling giving TISS this time. Hope it never follows the pattern of CAT anytime

Hi everyone

I took the exam at TISS [New Campus]. Well TISS has been quite infamous for it's unprofessional manner so no surprise but we had a bit better experience than the people at other centers.

Paper 1 - was easy but yes as someone said it was tough to complete it in 45 minutes. I don't know why people found GK tough, it was much easy few questions were picked up straight from CSE 2007, 2006 and some very simple questions. English too was pretty easy.

Paper 2 - Good paper but never expected a section dedicated completely to probability . Reading Comprehension was okay but time was running out. Quite contrary to others here I didn't mark answers to all the questions, but I did attempt a good number of questions. I guess could have marked some more questions like others as there was no negative marking but then never mind if all the questions I attempted are right I'll be in the safe zone.

apart from cat and xat all the exams are conducted in this manner only...so we can complain as much as we want...but we can't do anything about it..

Test 1: was ofcourse very easy....managed to do all the qs with ease.

Test 2: consisted of 50 GK qs which were on diverse topics .I found it tough and somehow managed to do 25 out of 'em. Rest were tukkas...
