i don't know from the information has come that TISS is going to call only 400 people this time....if it is from TISS official then we should beleive else not because its merely a rumour then.

I feel it cannot happen TISS calling 3000 people last year and only 500 this time that too in such a bad time of recession.

My take for the cut off-> 60-65 (Section A -30-35, Section B 25 - 30)

hello evry1, iv applied 4 development studies, media n cultural studies.

part 1 was pretty gud.

part 2---dev studies---no time!!!! <panic>
media n cultural studies---1 essay, 1 story....did well, but dono how they'll judge.

added 2 this, TISS was the 1st evr competitive exam in my life! no coaching/no mocks...nothng evr! so do guide me, in terms of how many mite get a call 4 dev studies/media n cultural studies....n wat wud the cut offs b 4 each of them.

Last year Tiss declared a certain cut off and everyone above that score got a call.
Paper being very easy last time ,most of them cleared the cut off and hence 4000 ppl had to be called for gd/pi.
This time only top 400-500 wud be called i.e. 7-8 persons per seat.

Few of my class ppl and me at Blore centre had bad time. The paper was taken before the bell rang and the lady who collected papers was so slow...tht ppl at the other end had 10 mins spare time.

This is really bad! Tough paper and this kinda incapable process...

50 marks for paper2 dat means 0.666 marks for each questions??

since nothing is mentioned then i believe all the questions will have same marks that comes out to be roughly .67 for a question....

again i am asking the same question....how do you how many would be called,no assumptions should be made until announced by the TISS authorities.

TISS will decide a cut off and call people,does not matter the count is 400 or 1000 so lets hope most of us clear the cut off....m sayin all this because IIFT announced d result a day back n they have called more then 1200 people for ard 200 seats.

so please no assumptions and no panic....let us hope for the good result
