I got a small query. When does the hostel allocation take place? And how's the rooms decided?

well jack when u pay the 1st installment, u might have specified ur choice of room(2 seater, 3 seater, etc). so when u will sit on the bus from model colony to lavale, u'll b getting a sheet where the type of room u have selected and ur roommate's name will b specified over there. roommates are selected randomly, but remember they are the most crucial elements of ur life in SITM.

apart from the dressing code you mentioned that has to be followed by all for a month at sitm.. is there as such any dressing code that is followed in the routine??
any special list of things we need to carry with ourselves while coming there?

plz make it a point that u have to follow the dress code specified, for 1 month and its a hard and fast rule over here. after that u can wear casuals. but it should b decent(hope u got the point). don't worry sometimes during 7 am lectures we go wearing bathroom slippers too. but not in regular hrs.

the tentative date for ur course commencement is around 15th june, i guess. still check it out on the site. talking about sem break, we got jus 1-2 days between our 1st sem and 2nd sem. welcome to MBA life, dude!!

the website does not mention any separate fee or specifications for getting a room of your choice ( i mean 2 seater or 3 seater) it just directs us to submit 2.3 lakh as the first installment are we supposed to follow some procedure for opting our choice?

I checked the course curriculam for marketting but couldn`t find any language course in that wouldn`t we be learning any foriegn language,seniors please through some light on it.

we till now don't have any foreign language in our curriculum. 12 subj in 1st sem and 15 in 2nd were enuff headache for us. how r we gonna manage time for a foreign language. bt still, let's see...as a coordinator of acads comm we could introduce some foreign languages after getting the responses from ur batch.

regarding hostel rooms, may be u guys wud get a mail soon from the college. there u wud b asked for ur choice. there's time, wait patiently.

regd conveyance, u'd get bus facility 4 times a day from Lavale campus to S B Road campus and back. so don't worry. anyhow u'll seldom get chance to go to the city!!

Thanks!!!!!!!! that would be great I`ll be looking forward to it, I think french would enhance our opportunities in the market as orange(france telecom, more then 50 billion euros as revenue for last year) has already proved its existance in our country.
