hey friends...

i have a minor concern. i am planning on taking xat this year. its mentioned clearly on their website that "The candidate has to enclose the third copy of the bank ( XAT) pay-in-slip along with the completed XAT PP Form in the special envelope provided in the XAT Bulletin and send it by registered post / speed post / courier within a week of obtaining the XAT Bulletin".

within a week is what is bothering me!
the next line its mentioned "The last date for receiving the XAT PP Form at XAT office, XLRI Jamshedpur is December 05, 2008".

the problem is that i have a backlog (supplimentary) and the results will be out next month. surely by oct first week. so i was planning to buy the bulletin from axis bank now itself and send later on after the results come out so that i can give my degree as completed and give my proper percentage i have obtained in all subjects. please help on what i should do? should i wait till october to buy the bulletin or can i buy now and send it later on. or should i send the pp form soon and can i postpone the filling of personal details online? i didnt still understand the full procedure as i have not bought the form.

Hey Anjath,

Just posting what's written at the XAT site "Candidates who are yet to take their final examination or whose results are still awaited should enter the aggregate marks/grade of their previous years, where ever required. Candidates are required to produce their final certificates during the time of admission."

I think the declaration itself removes all doubts, but then also I'd like to add that whatever you choose, do follow the deadlines that they've specified. Not following the same may cause your registration to be considered as void.

finally i went through all the instructions in the website and i decided to mark as completed. i think that is safer because i have completed course last year. and moreover i only have to show them the real stuff by june 2009. so by that time everything would be fine. and the percentage wont be an issue coz its just one paper the percentage wont move that much.

Anjath, Manan is an awesome singer. And not just the band, there are lots of other activities to do at XL. One doesn't really get free time here, one has to create it by managing whatever one has, effectively.

I believe once you register online, you're allowed to change the filled responses until a final date (I dont know the date). So I will suggest that you go for online registration rather than filling form.

Few days back i saw a 1yr executive pgm for wrking professionals offerred by XLRI.
Its a virtual classroom program.

Can anyone give me more details regarding this course
or else, if there is a thread going regarding this prgm, can you please send me the link.
