I'm gonna take up XAT 2009 but I haven't started taking up tests as yet as I'm learning the concepts first. Will it be ok if I start taking up mock tests from November onwards? | | | | | | | |

But generally... two months of good preparation + mock tests + nice time spent on Mock test analysis + great level of motivation = victory...

Target oriented studies should be preferred in last months. And simultaneously take test to judge you preparation and make changes accordingly in your preparation strategy. Remember in less time you can be victorious by having a good strategy. And if you are appearing for other exams too then by the time you will have to face XAT you must have faced 2-3 exams so that will add to your solace

Hey i read the Xlri prospectus today ,though i have bought it last month...
it says the form has to be sent within one week of buying the form...
seniors please confirm....if that is a strict rule ..
and out of curiousity just waana ask MANAN who is the XL senior on this thread .. have u done ur schooling from mehsana? | | | | | | | |

Sushant, you can send the form any time before the due date... it doesn't have to be within a week of purchase. (I still don't know why that 'rule' exists, but it's never implemented.  )

Hey thanks sumit......for the info...
actually in my school i had one senior MANAN shamioake ..who was 2 years elder to me...and he was good in singing also...
so just got curious if the MANAN on this thread is the same Manan from Gujraat !!!
hope manan comes on pg and tells himself...

Start the tests. Its already high time to start. Though nothing is impossible, but why do u want to take chances. Continue studying the concepts and take tests simultaneously. This will also show u whether the things which u are studying are actually increasing your score or not.!!!
So, start bro... ASAP.

And for the answer to your question abt form. Last year i had faced the same situation but i send the form after one week but it was accepted there was absolutely no problem.
