i do not have my 8th sem marksheet with me....only today it is out...as m leaving for jamshedpur tomorrow so could not go and collect it too...but i do have provisional certificate...for the regestration it was mentioned that both provisional certificate and all sems marksheets are required...otherwise we are required to bring a letter from the principal that results are not yet declared...but since my planning failed as marksheet is out late so couldnt get the letter too...would the provisional certificate all marksheets upto 7th sem would suffice...

This is just to update you all...

I got a "transcript" of my final sem marks (specially got it from the university by paying for it), but no provisional certificate. That will arrive directly in college, it seems, by which time I will be in Jampot. Apart from that, I had applied for a "course completion" certificate from the principal before the results came out, which was drafted after the results were released. Now...according to the course completion certificate, the college has my X and XII marks' memos...but actually, while going for all the B-school interviews, I had applied for permission and taken them. I guess the principal's office was not updated with this info.

Anyway, I am going to arrive at J'pot with the following:

1. Birth certificate with photocopies
2. X Marks Memo with "
3. XII Marks Memo with "
4. All Engg Marks Memos upto final semester
5. Slightly inaccurate course completion certificate from Principal.

I'll be able to get the degree certificate or provisional certificate in about a month, max...and if required, my mum can courier it to me.

see yaar,for getting a call,only the XAT exam written score is taken into consideration..work ex weightage is after the written..that is it has the impact in the interview wer u r given xtra marks coz of ur work ex..n u can ofcourse make it to XLRI...it seems like a huge task,main bhi aise hi sochta tha..now i am in XL..bliv in urself man,u ll make it

We'll try to find some information for you, somraj. The fact of the matter is that the final admissions and course commencement just took place for the PG programs (BM and PMIR).
