yes eresh,accommodation is available for parents who may be cuming along with their children..u have to contact the MDP person there..see the above posts for the contact info..
and yes regarding the laptop,it is nt absolutely necessary to have the exact config as written in the letter,it is just an estimate..u can alwas take a lower one..but just make sure it is fast enuf..

I think there are. I had called up XLRI for the same query. The person told me to mail to a person stating my request to get a room booked. However, no confirmation reply has come from their side.
So I am going to call up again today.
You might also do the same.

ya same with me also..i too sent a mail to the person and there is no reply from their side till now..by the way the person to be mailed is tarit@xlri.ac.in...i ll call them up today newas...

I called the guy at 0657 3983335. He told to mail him and he would revert with the status of the booking of the room only on the 31st May.

Also, there is a hotel some 3-4 Km away from XLRI. So incase we dont get the room, we might go there.

Jus want to noe if a laptop at t6400 is enuf and can i substitute roxio creator software for a cyberlink.??

Got my letter today at 4.04 PM(BM course)...So me too into XL now

And the waitlist has certainly moved till 66...So All the Best to the ones ahead too...
