See, the waitlist shifts as long people withdraw their admission. Last time it went as far as the last week before admissions. I would advice you to be hopeful, and be prepared for the worst...

Well,
The shift in PMIR list stops way before BM list. Thats 'coz of the HR brand that XL has. You need to wait for IIM results. The increase in seats can change a lot of equations. 48 might not see a positive result for atleast a month

thanx for the info. could u also tell me wen the shift stopped last year in pmir and the increase in seats ur talking about are in pmir or iims?

Last year, the shift was till 23-24, if I'm not mistaken... and the increase in seats has been both at XLRI as well as the IIMs... 
We have 120 seats in PMIR, instead of 60.

hello guys...
my first post probably on pagalguy.com as a whole...not much of a 'dedicated puy'  ...
I am waitlisted 5 for BM...considering last year's results, i should be safely through, but want to make sure XL has given 120 confirmed calls only for 120 seats(as some institutes prefer to give confirm call to more no. of people,knowing that,not all will join)
My organization has a notice period of 2 months. So, I have to take decision quickly.
Can a senior help me in this regard?

wow. so we nw have waitlist 52, 53, 54, 55 & 56 (me) here on this thread today only. wat a coincidence 
just hope to convert it
last year BM list moved till 63. not sure abt PMIR but i guess it was arnd 22-23.
just one query. have d seats increased for the BM course as well? i think dis time its 120. so wat was it last year?
CAT 2008 - 99.93  ; XAT 2009 - 99.48 ; FMS 2009 - 99.024
Calls - IIM ACLKI  , XLRI (BM), FMS (MBA), MDI (PGPM)
