On the xlri website(mandatory disclosure), it is given that xat score=50% weightage, rest things=50%. No one knows what is the weightage given to the rest things individually (interview, acads, essay, etc.)
Last year, 87000 guys apeared for xat. It was a decline from previous year(acc to a coach in ims). so this year, applicants can range from 50k to 120k (again, an approximation)i can go wrong on that.

Anyhow, thrs no point calculating the written score rank, since people actually coming in top 20 have been kicked out and people on the lower end of the xat score(last ones to trail on the shortlist) have made in.

So lets stop thinking on these issues, have a coffee and wait for the results

Regards, Hamzy.

According to the mandatory disclosure (@XL website), the figures are:
Number of applications received during last two years
2007-08 : 84,627
2008-09 : 70,563

ATB puys for the results!

I would choose FMS if I had a choice... After all, Delhi will offer more exposure than Jamshedpur.(Other factors are more or less the same, except for the fee)

Sorry to interfere ....but comparing B-schools in threads is not permissible. Please use PM or you can look in the B-school survey done by PG or you can personally ask the seniors at these B-Schools. Thanks
