thanks...also last year what was the minimum number of questions to atend with 100% accuracy to get ximb cal in each section....??....since the overall cutoff is 32 for ximb last year...if i get 22 in lr,5 in va n qa...does this suffice to get a cal from ximb...??

Hey,

Last time the overall cut off percentile was around 96%...And there were sectional cut offs around 80%.... I don't exactly remember the no of questions required to clear the cut offs...But it was high for LR(22 was gud enough i think) and relatively on the lower side for other two sections(am not very sure whether 5 correct answers would have helped)....

Hey...in the previous page, i have mentioned the sectional cutoff percentiles for XIMB...please check it out...will give u a slightly better picture...

Hi All!

I have a major concern here: last year i.e. in XAT 2007 my friend got an OA percentile of 99.47, QA - 99.32 VA - 99.04 and DI -87, and she did not get a call from XLRI-BM. Her academics are pretty decent and she had an exp of 1.2 years in Infy...

can you think of a reason why on such a good score(i agree DI is low but the usual cutoff is 80-85... as per my knowledge) she was not called for the next round?

@Seniors does that mean even a 99.5 cant fetch a call in XLRI ???

The score was very good. She could not have got call for XLRI-BM because of DI score. As there are sectional cutoff percentile. And there is always a ratio to the number of students called for GD/PI to the number of seats. It is not like all those who are getting score above some percentile may get a call. So the number of students which would have been called must have had more score in all the three sections and overall. And XLRI-BM is applied by many people. So the cutoff over all and sectional are quite high.
Did she apply for XLRI- PMIR?
