Ramkumar, unfortunately, we guys neither set the papers, nor know the people who set them. :laugh: Hence, very tough for anyone to comment on the 'expected' pattern.
If there's one thing that I can be certain of, with my experience of CAT/XAT, that is... there is nothing that is certain in the paper. Be prepared for any eventuality, and don't go in with a fixed mindset.
Compare the exam with a cricket match. The questions could be yorkers, bouncers, full tosses, or many other things. Now, you don't know how many of each you will be getting. But, you still need to maximize your score to win, right?
