XAT 2009 Queries

Puys, need help here.
I have experiences in multiple designations in an IT firm (after being promoted).
In this situation, should i break up my Work experience across the different designations (and durations) or is just a single entry enough?

Just put your latest designation. That will suffice.

hello.. thanx 4 tht essay part.... i have only filled the form of xat not xlri... so m i elligible for xlri as well.. or for other colleges under xat except xlri? is the cuttoff everytym 99%tile? is the paper really tough? hows the lr part?

puys, not sure if you have seen this, but there is a list of telephone numbers for all cities(including a toll free number), where we could call up and ask specific doubts about XAT/XLRI admissions. Best part is that you can talk to somebody who will respond to your doubts(not just an IVRS). i happened to use this today and was pretty satisfied with their response

Well its person dependent decision based on their capabilities and willingness.
Accordint to me XLRI, XIMB, Spjain, Gim, Kjsomaiya IFMR, LIBA are some of the good colleges all fall in the range off 90 percentile %.
XLRI BM 98+ with high sectional
XLRI PMIR 96+ with high sectional
Spjain profile based
XIMB 95+ with sectionals
Gim 93-94
IFMR 91-92
LIBA 92 aorund
there may be some wrong figures but this will definitely give you the general idea

Do I hv to send the XAT and the XLRI forms separately or can I send them in a single envelope..??

the cut offs for gim & liba were 90.01 percentile & 90.1 percentile respectively.......
