| These are only for CBSE students..Other boards will have separate names for their examinations of 10th and 12th..
In CBSE as much as I remeber..
AISSE: ALL INDIA SECONDARY SCHOOL EXAMINATION
AISSCE: ALL INDIA SENIOR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION
might be slightly wrong..

It is not mendatory for you to have work experience. Obviously the JOb ex guys will get a cutting edge over the freshers. But you may cover up that gap with your scores.
And secondly all you can have is a mere less than 6 months job ex before the gd/pi process begins, which is as like as no job experience. So its better you concentrate on your studies.Work Harder to fill the gap.

We experienced folks had hoped that we'd get a cutting edge, but that's not the case.  Yes, workex has its merits, but it also has demerits. I won't get into a discussion on what those are, right now.
But, freshers, don't worry. You are in no way at a disadvantage, as compared to experienced folks. It's just that they and you have different skill sets, and maybe, attitudes.
I'd suggest that you start with your job, only if you feel like, coz at least it'll give you some flavour of corporate life.  | | | | | | | |

- XAT 2009 Prospectus available from 1st September, 2008 to 30th November, 2008.

Branch code is a code which is specific to each branch and bank.It is denoted in the DD as code.

I think this is going to be a messy one. Let me clear it once and for all.
1. If you are applying to XAT using DD as the payment mode then you have to write the code written in the DD. But be cautious about the Issuing bank code and drawee bank code. The above post better explains this.
2. If you have purchased the prospectus for any of the axis bank then the codes may be obtained from the link provided below. Just go to the appropriate branch and get the code. XAT / XLRI Online Registration

1. The payment advice form should reach on or before 5th dec.
2. You have to download the admit admit card between dec 18th and 1st jan'09
3. You are allowed to make changes for the test centre before Nov. 30th
