Hi,
Tried looking for last year's minimum cut off, but in vain.
Could anyone help me with previous year's cut off. I am not sure if the below score would be enough to get a call from SIOM. I am really doubtfull of applying to this institute.
I have managed the below score:
General English: 18.75
Quant: 8.25
GK: 7
LR: 21.5
Total: 55.5
I am already a 6 sigma certified professional and have worked on ERP SCM modules for 3 years.
CAT'09: 94 percentile
IIFT: 22 no call
SNAP: 55.5

I only know the percentages of each. I dont know what grade it fits into.
10th 78.5%
12th 79.6%
Engineering- 76% uptill 6th semester.
Now what grades to i belong to with my above percentages and can i quote my engineering aggregate ,the latest updated one i.e. 6th semester?
3. I am now moving into the 8th semester, so my 7th sem results arent out. So what do i do in those boxes of 7th and 8th sem. Leave them blank is it?
Waiting for your help friends
Thank you all in advance:angel:

1. If you are making the payment by means of DD, select the source of prospectus as Self. If you have already paid the application fee for SIOM online using SNAP test website, select the source of prospectus as SNAP.
2. Grades are optional and if your board/University also gives grades along with percentage marks, mention the grades also. Otherwise, leave this column blank.
3. I guess you can leave those semesters for which your result has not been declared.

i have already submiited the form today itself. i am not getting how to fill SIOM form fees thru card.......print version of my form contains DD number ,DD bank name......does this mean that now i have to prepare a DD and send it...Please help

Friend, last date of online payment is already over through SNAP test website. You have to now get a DD of Rs. 1500 made in favour of Director SIOM payable at Nashik and write its details in the print-out. And you were supposed to choose the source of prospectus as Self as you are making payment by means of DD. Do, one thing: strike-off the "SNAP" with pen and write "Self" as the source of prospectus.

In spite of having not that good score, you have chances to get shortlisted due to your consistently excellent academic record and work-ex. All the best.

You seem to have 60% chances of getting shortlisted in my opinion. Your work-ex, good academic record will overcome your not that good SNAP score to some extent.

You have quite relevant work-ex. However, do mention your academics also. Only then I can tell you about your chances.

Chances would be less keeping in mind your engineering record & SNAP score (which you have mentioned to be quite low).

Your work-ex is very relevant & desired and you'll have good chances to get through. Your backlogs during engineering, if any, would add negative points tyo your profile. All the best!

This is entirely up to you. It's completely your decision. I am not telling that you'll NOT get the call. I have predicted your chances in my opinion alone.
