Your question is very difficult. Everything has some weightage and negative points in a person's profile carry negative points. So, the cumulative score after giving weightage to different parameters would count as a whole.

Your profile looks very good. However, your SNAP score is less. If you have work-ex too, you would have definitely a high probability to get shortlisted. Without work-ex, your chances seem to be NOT very good.

Work-ex would probably be able to overcome your not so good SNAP score. I think you have a high probabilbity to get shortlisted.

For the information of all aspirants, online sale of prospectus for SIOM through SNAP Test website will continue only up to January 9th 2009. However, for candidates opting to pay by DD, they can always send the DD of Rs. 1500 so as to reach SIOM along with print-out of the online submittes form by Jan 24. In both cases, print-out of online submitted form has to reach SIOM before 24 Jan complete in all respects.

Also took part in the cricket & Football in college level.

Whats my chance to get a call from SIOM?


Again one thing, in the on line form in the job xperience field there is a space to write the job from ------date upto------- date. But I am still working.Presnt company is the only comp.for me. Then what should I write in blank given against the Upto field...................What should I calculate about the job xperience...
Pls xplain me....

According to my opinion the application procedure to symbi colleges are very confusing.

Moreover in SIOM site following thing is mentioned:

STEP II:
Submission of SIOM admission Form: All candidates are required to fill the SIOM admission form online. The form is available on clicking the admission weblink on www.siom.in . Fill the form complete in all respects and submit. Take a printout of the filled form.
1.Candidates buying the prospectus in person from SIOM in cash should pay Rs. 1400 and submit the hard copy of the filled form in SIOM admission department.


2.Candidates can also download the SIOM admission form from the website and send it directly to SIOM along with the Demand draft of Rs. 1500/- in favour of “Director, Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management” and payable at Nashik. Such candidates shall receive the prospectus after the receipt of the DD.

So if I am applying online by filling up the online application form http://siomadmision.com/index.html site, what are the next step I need to follow? How to make the payment? Some one plz clarify my doubt even if it appears silly.

Dude u need to fill the online form, SUBMIT it. Take print out that submitted form, and post it along with DD worth Rs. 1500/- in favor of "Director, SIOM" payable at Nashik. Address of the college is mentioned on website. Hope this clarifies ur doubts.

As for the ONLINE SALES OF APPLICATIONS as mentioned by Varun, that is if you wanted to make payment thru credit card and not DD. So these are two different ways of making payments. DONT CONFUSE among them. If u make payment thru CreditCard you need to submit ur online form, take print out and post the hardcopy.

This is just an additional mode of payment available for student's convinence.
Hope this clears all ur CONFUSION and upholds strong name of SYMBI ;-) in ur mind.

Your chances seem to be good. SNAP score might be the only problem. Still, you have chances.

For "Date Upto" field of work-ex column, write the date of filling the online form and then calculate the correscponding work-ex.

I have edited my post to include more points to acoid confusion.
Irrespective of your mode of payment, you need to fill the application form online, submit it online, then take its print-out and send it to SIOM. If you have paid online through SNAP test website (for which the last date is Jan 9), you nedd to send only this print-out and nothing else. In case you are paying by DD, you have to send DD of Rs. 1500 in favour of Director SIOM payable at Nashik along with the print-out. In both the cases, your form should reach SIOM on or before Jan 24.
