Also, since the last date of submitting the forms falls on Saturday, we'll be taking even those forms into consideration which would be received till Monday. This is to ensure that candidates don't loose out on their chances in case their forms take more than expected time in transit. So, you can send your forms without any fear. However, make sure that your form reaches SIOM on or before Monday.

All those who want to get the confirmation of the receipt of their application, send a mail to admissions@siom.in quoting your SNAP Id and Registration Number.
Looking at the trend of scores which became evident from SCMHRD calls, it was visible that people have been able to get the calls even on not that good scores from SCMHRD. My friend got a call from SCMHRD at a SNAP score of 66 in spite of SCMHRD giving only 1800 call this time as compared to around 2500 last year. I would recommend therefore even those with low SNAP scores not to loose hopes. Their profile, if found good, may fetch them calls even at low SNAP scores.

varun,
though there are only 1800 calls compared to 2500 last year and people getting calls at relatively lower scores than expected, i think SCMHRD has become more selective in profiles than in SNAP scores. As your friend has got a call at 66, we cant deny that a student with a score of 70-75 may have been rejected by SCMHRD because of no so good profile than people with less scores.
For SIOM aslo i believe it is going to be the same way, as SIOM already has stated that it does believe in profile than SNAP score.
so guys, though you have a lesser score with a better profile, keep your fingures crossed, very shortly you will know whether you are there in SIOM list or not.
all the best!!!

Before doing the final submission I checked the form twice. Every thing was in place. When I opened the printable version some of the details have come wrong. This is not a printer problem.
Work-Ex changed from 2 Year 5 Months to 2 Year 2 Year
Degree obtained changed from B.E(Electronics&Communication) to (Electronics&Communication).
Now what is the solution? Should I write by hand and fill the application? Atleast the above information should have come properly.

Clarification Regarding Work-Experience Display in Print-Out
(Post repeated for new comeres to this thread)
There is some problem with the print part of the form in case of work-ex. Work-ex is printed in years twice and doesn't show in months. i.e. print-out would repeat only the work-ex in years twice. Your work-ex is correctly recorded in the database. I have personally checked that in some cases with the office. So, you can write your work-ex with pen without any fear because this problem is there only in the print-out and NOT in recording of information in database. So, none of you will loose on work-ex points due to display error.

What suhas_rock meant was that you have a good chance, as no one can actually tell you 100% whether you will get a call or not. Its all relative depending on the profiles of the applicants.
Wait till 4th feb. All the best!!

Note to Aspirants
Due to problems faced by candidates particularly in online forms, SIOM will consider the applications received even on 26th Jan (25th being Sunday). However, no application for which DD is drawn after 24th Jan would be considered. We have observed a significant number of online applications being there in the online databse. However, less than one-half of those have been received in hard copy. Hence this step!
So, even those who have not yet applied can consider applying to SIOM.
