u had asked about ur chances of getting call. i have replied it in post number 1011 on page number 102 of this very thread.

regarding ratio of people called for GDPI to seats available,
last year for 120 seats, siom had given 800 calls (open+reserved)

any other query is welcome.

U ll have a fair idea. SIOM is a very good college. Our dear friend called names, and he has applied to SIOM too( he is there in the polls)!!!

please guys,
siom is a college for operations management.
if you have interest then apply.
guys please know your interest first. then apply for institute.
if you are not interested for international business then no point in applying for IIFT.

not the same comparison with that as IIFT but please apply to siom when you want to do MBA in operations. thats what i wanted to say.

finally siom is a good collge for people interested in operations.

My snap Score - 52 - expected 65 :-x

I am basically an Aeronautical Engineer aged 25


My academics
10th – 80%
12th – 83.4%
B.E ( Aeronautical Engineering ) - 68.3%.

But had backlogs in various semesters counding to 10 :sad:; but cleared all in subsequent semesters and passed in first class itslelf in the final year

Extra- curricular activites

School Leader during my 12th std (2000-2001)
Aeronautical Engineering students association Secretary ( 2004-2005)

Work Experience.

I have a work experience of 43 months in the field of HR and training.

7 months (June 2005 to Dec 2005) - Trainer – Soft-skills and
Personality Development
3 years (Jan 2006 to till Date) – HR consultant for a Software Company.

2 years (Jan 2007 to till Date) Chief-Trainer and Managing Director
for my own Training Institute (ASTRA ) specialised in enhancing
skills in Campus Placements, Personality Development and Sokt-skills .
Given training to around 4000 students in 2 yrs.

With my above profile and score card, I would like to know my chances
of getting a GD/PI call from SIOM …what ever your opinion/suggestion
may be, I would be happy to hear from you

as you said u have workex in HR, are you realy interested in operations?
its alltogether a different field.

you may get a call on snap score and workex. 50% chance

hey everyone... i had to ask this - i have completed the online application process of SIOM [i have paid for the prospectus wit a credit card]. I am yet to send d print out but now when i tried to access my form to take the print, am being asked the online registration number. how does one get this?
i did search this forum but found no cases of lost online registration numbers.... so, posted my query
