VGSOM IIT Kharagpur Admission Queries!

Hi,

This query is regarding eligibility for VGSOM.

I have done MCA and before that I have done BCA. In BCA I had 3 papers of mathematics in 3 semesters (out of total 6 sem) consisting graduation level Modern Algebra, 2D and 3D Co-Ordinate Geometry, Calculus and Numerical Methods.

Can someone from VGSOM or from admin confirm that I'm eligible or not. In brochure it is mentioned that candidate must have B.E. or Master degree with mathematics or statistics at Graduation level.

A candidate who has either secured or is likely to secure a first class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or a first class Master’s degree in Science (with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor’s level) or a first class Master’s degree in Economics or Commerce (with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor’s level) is eligible for admission. Selection is based strictly on performance in JMET, followed by group discussion and personal interview with the Selection Board. Post qualification work experience in industrial organizations will be given due weightage. The School follows Government of India norms regarding reservation of seats for qualified Scheduled Caste/Tribe candidates and persons with disability.

1.Usually people from 1 to 1500 are given calls. final selection 80 (this year)
2.avg work ex - 2 yrs fee- check website

I have a query. Do people who go for part time MBA in VGSOM,get opportunity for placement?Also do they get an opportunity to interact with IIT faculty?
