We are sending confirmation mails to people as
soon as we receive them, so if you didnt get it
it has not reached. You dont have to worry. I
think you can track the postal status through the
website of the postal department. Do that.

Well Spidy, I second what Sachin has mentioned in his previous post that you have a very pessimistic view about the whole system and are quite adamant to change your point of view.
No one other then the admissions committee has an idea about what would be followed this year.
Kgp had not released a second list last year but it did call some candidates at a later stage by handing out letters.
Have faith in the system and prepare well for GD PI

I have made the DD from IDBI bank, will it be acceptable (actually couldn't locate SBI around and no other bank I enquired had a branch at kharagpur)

Yeah these were the changes we incorporated as per
new directives from the admissions office. For all those
people who had downloaded the first form and have not
sent the marksheets do not worry. You will be asked to
sent it at a later stage. All others have to attach the attested
copies of the mark sheets.

Hi,

The copy of degree marks sheet was not asked in the older form, but according to the new form (which was uploaded after the first few days) one needs to enclose the relevant copy of marks sheet. The new form is uploaded in the college website, check it for reference.
If you have submitted the form without the copy of marks sheet considering the old admission form, it is fine, we shall take care of it. But people who have sent the new form should send the relevant docs as asked for.

The shortlist will be released in the third week of Feb.
