If its easy for a SC candidate, its all the more easy for a GEN or OBC guy.

The toughness should ideally not have any impact on the cut-offs.

What might have an impact is that there were lots and lots of smart SC guys who gave jmet this year.

In any case the cut-offs migth not see a big difference.

Even though work experience do matter it is not a problem
to convert the call if you have a good gd/pi . So just apply
and concentrate on the gd/pi. Dont worry about other things

for gd/pi preparation if you were going to some institute
for coaching continue to do so, otherwise there are lots of
coaching institutes that offers crash courses for gdpi.
It will help you a lot in gaining some general gd pointers.

seniors pls confirm what is the percentage requirements in BE for PH candidates. A friend of mine has 4000 rank in jmet and 58% in BE and 8.0 cgpa in mtech from IIT? should he apply to IITKgp?
