IMS Open SimCET on 30th Aug'08 (only for Mumbai Students)

IMS is conducting an Open CET on 30th August, only for Mumbai students.

Hey Puys!!!

I took this Open SIMCET today!!! Appeared for the first time!!!

My score is pretty low...
I scored 85...

Actually was getting lost in between... 200 questions

Hi ashish,
The thread should have been opened in the MAT and State Level Cet section.Anyways,a thread opened is always better than no thread

Did you give the preCET?What are your scores?I havent calculated mine yet.Will be doing it asap.
There was huge chaos at the Dadar center.Many people dint get the question papers.Some dint get the answer sheets.It lasted for about 40 mins.After that,the students who had not got either of the essentials were requested to leave and collect papers from the nearest branch.Anyways,paper was quite easy.Will post scores soon.

aaah... they always do something..

Fortunately i was in the Borivali center...
In my center also ... they gave answer sheets at 4.26 and question paper at 4.28 and exam started at 4.30 ...

Hi mridula,
My score is 138.
Dint attempt rc except 4-5 straightforward questions and many visual reasoning questions.Just arbitrarily marked them as 2.
No one else has given the test it seems.You will be giving the Snap tomorrow,na?

I did not mark all the questions!!!

Marked some questions randomly as 2.. But not counting that in my marks..
The true marks are 85 ..

I could not solve the question of assumptions and implicit statements

Got all of them wrong...

Yeah,i too got many the implicit questions wrong.Sentence correction options were laughable most of the times.Good stress relievers

was at bvli centre too!
i dint get this thing....dey took dat photocopied ques paper and replacd it with the actual one....i told the lady to keep dat original copy ...n leme take the one with which i was wrkin....she simply refusd!
now i dunno wha wonders i hav done in the paper!
