So puys less than 24 hours to the paper.. Heres wishing everyone (including me) best wishes for the paper !!
Sum things I would like to point out..
1) If u havent practised much for the NMAT after CAT dont worry much ..most guys get drained after CAT and arent much into practising .. so u arent alone..infact.there would be more candidates of this type... ultimately its 28th Dec that counts ... just dont take any question to ur ego..n dont think twice of skipping a question..no matter how easy.. coz speed of all things matters a lot here..

2) if the above case doesnt apply to u.... and u have been practisin NM sample papers ... reading VEDIC maths n wat not.. u are on the right track .. just put things into place tomorrow n score well (matters a lot in the final selection)

Just hopin to make the cut this time .. scored a horrible 84 in NMAT 07 :(

Most of the XAT public must already be in the final mode of preparation.
Although NMAT is a speed test, the basics are all the same, the only one thing being that one cannot afford is, to lose the flow.

To all those who have given JMET, just try to remember tohe controversial LR set...how much time that must have eaten an must have rendered your flow haywire. Just make sure it doesn't happen in NMAT.

Frankly from my point of view vedic maths is not at all required for NMAT.
The 15 calculation based Q's that came last year were merely identity based.
Hence please go through all the basic identities that we all must have done thoroughly till 10th std.

Since the type of questions have varied a lot over just 05, 06, 07 the coaching classes were confused to set a deinite paper, so they have put a total khichdi of all sorts.

If GK comes tomorrow please dont loose your coll. The questions which you don't know, donot try to attempt....usually backfires in GK when one attempts the unknown.

Finally as BKD said, the written exam has a considerable weightage....try to do your best

the nmat paper will not have GK... it has already been mentioned in the prospect for this year that the 3 sections in the exam will be english, mathematics + di and logical reasoning...

Latst year the OA cutoff was 85. Around 2500 people were called.
Puys who had ranks of >1500 were apprehensive as to whethre there is any logic in applying for the next stage as NM gives so much weightage to the written score. The same case may happen this year too.
I say DON"T WORRY!

I personally know of a puy who had a score of 88 and a rank of 1553 in written. He went on to get a final rank of 449 and the waiting list closed at 440!
