hello puys.. don't panic as about the difficulty level of the xam.. i tell u, ppl with sound fundamentals.. who had a good speed (i mean it) will easily be able to crack it..

to add to what man_on_mission said.. ur work ex score depends.. on how well u handle the answer they ask u about ur company or ur work... like i was asked about the diff between .Net and Java.. n what exactly was my project...

don't worry about the placements they are decent enough n value fro the money n time invested...

jus want 2 add dat i joined career forum last yr and in der mock NMAT paper n sum ample NMAT pprs dey asked GK...but as u ppl say der's no GK right? (very disappointed coz dats whr i score heavely)
and just out of curiosity can anyone put sum light on management quota... wats d criteria for dat? hv heard mngt quota ppl r not allowed 2 sit 4 placements...jus correct me if am wrong!!!

Sorry dude.. there was no GK last year n year before that.. but please check the brochure.. well i m 99.99% sure tht this year also they will not give gk...
abut management quota its 15% that come around 36 in 240 so for general the seats available are 204.. n let me tell u once u r into college there is absolutely no way to figure out who is from management quota n who is not.. n the same holds true for recruiters..

NMAT has done away with GK...it will b confirmed in the brochure...atleast last yr der was no GK...

out of 240 seats 15 % are offered thru mgmt quota..i.e. 36 seats...for tat u have to get reasonably gud rank in NMAT as its on basis of NMAT rank nd not like..u will give higher fees nd wud get admission...if u get a lil lower rank den merit rank den u can get mangmt seat..

Yup u r rong once u r in NMIMS no one knows who is thru mgmt and who is thru merit...we r 240 students and all r allowed to sit for placements...

one more thing about management seats. they are alotted on merit rank basis.so u got to have a rank of 800 around to have some chances of getting mq seats.

Hello Pooja,

The fees is 2.1 lakh pa. The fees does not include hostel fees. Hostel is optional.

Management Fees is double the above said amount.

Is it after the exam or after d results? i mean whn we know our rankings!!!
Another thing is if apply thru mngt seat but i get a gud enuf rank for general seat(merit waali) so will dey still consider me as mngt seat student?
